Using RSVPit
- •RSVPit lets hosts create digital invitations, collect RSVPs, sell tickets and aso-ebi, and check guests in at the door.
- •Guests do not need an account to RSVP. Hosts need an account to create and manage events.
Your responsibilities as a host
- •You are responsible for the content of your event — including its title, description, images, venue, date, and any details you share with guests.
- •You are responsible for making sure your event is lawful and that you have the right to collect RSVPs and payments for it.
- •Only invite people you have a genuine reason to invite, and only share invitation links with their intended recipients.
Guests
- •Guests RSVP in good faith. Providing false or misleading information may result in a host refusing entry.
- •Guests receive a QR pass and/or RSVP code for check-in. These are for the named guest only and should not be shared.
Paid tickets and aso-ebi
- •Paid tickets and aso-ebi orders are charged through our payment gateway provider. RSVPit does not store your full card details.
- •RSVPit charges a 5% platform fee on each successful paid order (tickets and aso-ebi). This fee is taken from the order total before the host is paid out.
Refunds
- •Refunds are the host's responsibility. If a guest wants a refund, they should contact the host first.
- •If RSVPit failed to capture or verify a payment, contact support@rsvpit.me and we will help resolve it.
Event removal
- •We may remove, disable, or flag events that are illegal, fraudulent, or that violate our community guidelines. We may also act on valid reports from authorities.
Check-in PIN and QR codes
- •The event check-in PIN and QR scanner are for authorised door staff only. Do not share the check-in PIN with guests or post it publicly.
Contact
- •For questions about these terms, email support@rsvpit.me.
